Xbox 720 More Power?

Well, no one ever complained a console was too powerful...

I Believe I read on IGN that the next gen engines like Unreal 4 will require 6 to 10 times more power to fully utilize thier full potential! :)  Cheers!

Well, I know that hover boards don't work on water... unless you've got power.  So, I'd imagine xbox Next will have more beef as well.

I disagree.  There are a lot of games that is pushing the console to the max.  Halo Reach, Gears of War 3, amongst others.  DICE even stated that they had to dumb down the graphics in Battlefield 3 for the 360 simply because it didn't have the muscle to do what they wanted.   Also they didn't make hardly any games that took the original Playstation to the max until after Playstation 2 hit the market.

Anyway, I think this really old tech has been maxed out already.

Don't forget that the Call of Duty games can't even run at 720p on the on Xbox 360 (or the PS3 for that matter) and PC gaming sites are saying that the engine is outdated.  Halo 3 isn't fully HD and Battlefield 3 is optimised for only 30fps.

Sure the original Crysis has been released for this gen of consoles, and while it looks fantastic, it still doesn't compare to the PC version, which with the right specs can easily handle it at 1080p.

please dont call it the 720, it makes me want to punch myself in the face.

If the next xbox isnt more powerful then they wont be able to justify their $500 price tag, if not more
