wifi repeater used, can't connect xbox to wifi

i've look through that before and says nothing about connecting. the connection problem comes cause there are two signals that are received to the xbox which are under the same name

What type of connecting did you use to connect the extender (repeater) to your Router? (WPS or with the Web-Based Configuration Utility)

You say that when you try to connect, there are two wireless options with the same name, yeah? Select the one with the stronger signal and run a Connection Test. If it's failing to connect to the Internet in that test, then the "More Info" option in the connection test will either list a DNS Error or an Internet Error. Let us know what you see.

If you haven't already, check out the steps in this Connection Guide. It covers pretty much every connection error that can come up when running the test. If you have tried it, please let us know what steps you've gone through to connect so far. That info can help us go further in troubleshooting without making you repeat a bunch of stuff. =)
