Recently, my wife and son's accounts have not been able to sign into xbox live automatically. When they try to, they get an error and it asks them to run a test of the network first. The test runs, and completes with no errors (open NAT), and then allows them to connect with no additional changes needed. This happens every time we boot up the xbox.
A few changes happened when this started, and i am unsure what the cause is:
1 - I purchased an Xbox Slim, and gave my Elite to my wife and her standard Xbox to my son. Transfered my data from my 120 GB HDD to the Slim's 250 GB, and then gave the old 120GB to my son. Wife's hard drive stayed the same.
2 - Recently added the son's account to the family plan. (dont think this is the cause, since my account is on the plan as well and i dont have this issue)
All Xbox's have port forwarding on the switch and have open NATs with no network problems. Once the test completes, there are no issues. I have played a few XBL arcade games to see if this could be related to some weird DRM issue, but i havent had any problems.
Anyone have any suggestions?
