Need help changing Email on account

First off,why did you use your friend's email instead of yours?

Second , Why Didn't you use your own email.

Third - Why are you using your girlfriend's account now?

because you didn't use your own email,that means nobody can make sure if that's your account you're talking about or if it is someone else's... so unless you can prove it's yours,i guess nobody will help you out.

Use your email address to create a Microsoft account. The use the steps in the link I provide to change the account over to the new account. This will require the old email address and the old password.

When i made my account 4 years ago none of my emails worked..so i used my friends since he was at my house at the time...every time i tried to change it later on it never worked...now he doesnt know the password and was unable to reset it...im using my girlfriends account b.c i cant sign into mine on xbox.com without the password...i have all the info to get into my xbox live account when i talk to the microsoft support but they were unable to help

Hey there Cat! If you are unable to remember the login information and support was unable to help recover the account for you, then unfortunately we won't be able to help any further either. I'm sorry for the confusion here, but the best thing to do may be to create a new Gamertag/Microsoft Account for yourself with your information and keep going with that one. You've got the old Windows LIVE ID addresse, right?

1) Take that to account.live.com/.../reset for the password reset

2) If you can't reset it, go to http://account.live.com/acsr SAVE THE EMAILS SENT TO YOU

3) If that fails, contact Support and provide them with the Console ID number from Settings | System | Console Settings | System Info (it's on the 2nd line) and the reference number from the email sent to you in Step 2, and submit a UE Request. It is faster to have the Agent call you by going to support.xbox.com/contact-us or you can look up the phone number from the 1st web link in the .sig shown below.
