no its not ruining gaming. if its to easy turn up the difficulty. on tiger woods turn the caddie off its not hard to press two or three buttons and its gone. gamers ruin gaming by whinging all the time about stuff

Whats wrong with zombies?

you must die expired zombie im coming to get you. games have turned me into a serial killer.

How can you kill something that is already dead? I will let you ponder over that one.

One thing I will say, casual gamers have ruined the multi-player community.

Before MW:2 come out you could hop in a game, play with a group of strangers and have a laugh.

Now you get thugs on there raping their threats at you......

Both LA NOIRE and Portal 2 were spoiled massively because they are far too easy in a big part, to pander to the casual market.

OP has a point.

I'm not so sure with L.A Noire, because I am a terrible detective as far as that game goes.

i would love to debate with you all night about zombies. mr expired zombie but my mam has just told me its past my bedtime. i dont know why she still treats me like this - im 34 now.

Games are currently approximately 10x easier than they were 10 years ago. This means that the easier modes are even easier and the hardest difficulties are appropriately 10x easier than they should be.

Games are getting easier, its only very rarely you actually get a game these which is actually difficult. And they are few and far between because people in this era dont like challenge, they want instant gratification at minimal effort.

You would have thought that as gaming as an industry went onwards the games themselves would be getting more difficult as people have been playing them for longer and are thus getting better at them. Strangely though people are getting better and games are getting easier. Thats a fact.

Really?

I always found older games easier. There was no real AI. Everything was all pretty pre-programmed. All you need was a good memory, and most games were a piece of cake.
