heard this over twitter when it was announced at Comic-Con....couldnt have thought of anything more lame really. Freddie Krueger...whats he gonna do, put them all asleep so he can scare them in their dreams......can Scorpion dream lol

gonna have to disagree with you on this one mate, gameplay vid looks awesome - I will confess to being a horror film fanatic though, so its right up my street

wasnt there going to be somekind of Jason Vs Freddie idea behind this DLC concept.....just all a tad meh really, as bad as when they threw in Star Wars Characters in Soul Calibre

according to eurogamer they're discussing the idea of having Jason Voorhees, Pinhead and leatherface aswell - this would make me very happy indeed!

hmmm....not very Mortal Kombat but then, when you dont have any other MK universe characters to use...what else do you do to sell DLC...at least they can keep the violence and Gore up. Happy you got some DLC to look forward to with the game though bud

I really don't think Freddy fits in, Back story about demons or not. I'd have said Jason would fit in as the super natural powers idea , also which pinhead, pinnhead from hell raiser or pinnhead from puppetmaster ?

Also foget Scorpion what about Sektor and Syrax it brings up the question do robots dream of electronic sheep ?

I'm quite happy to see Freddy as DLC. It surprised me when he was announced and I wasn't too sure at first but he doesn't seem too bad from what i've seen so far.

Also if you got the season pass you are getting him for free which is always a good thing. They could of chose someone worse to be the forth DLC character.
