error code:80004005

It started out as not being able to accept, decline, or delete friends.  So i turned off my xbox, unplugged the router, the whole sha-bang. Now i can't even sign in to xbox live and i get a service alert yellow caution sign when i connect to xbox live in the diagnostic. Then i tried reloading my account but when i tried that i got the error code 80004005 so i restarted my xbox etc. etc. Now my account isn't even on the list of sign-ins for my xbox. THIS JUST KEEPS GETTING WORSE AND WORSE i'm not asking for an immediate fix, take your time. But at least let me know that you understand my problem and you're in the process of fixing it.

Xbox live is currently down, hence the error code.

I've done the same as you.

It should be back up soon, and I believe everything should work as normal then.

have the exact same error code, im fuming since an online agent from xbox live support suggested to be to delete then download my profile and im now unable to access my account, not happy with this

This just happened to me and the EXACT same thing I tried to sign in and it was unable to so I tested the connection and it was the same as usual. When I tried to sign in again it just said it was unable to, so I turned it off thinking it was a quick little mistake and turned it back on and it was the exact same problem again.........I wonder what happened.

Thanks xbox live...  it's even a double xp weekend on black ops II and I cannot sign in due to this error code.

How much did I pay for my Gold family membership each year?

Seems like you could do a better job of alerting players that xbox live is actually down...

if this is truly what is going on.  >.<

This just happens 2 be after I went 104- and 13 on nuketown then all of a sudden I cant sign back in.
