I recently got a new Xbox 360 S model after my old unit from launch date finally ran its course. I am slightly disappointed that the console came with only a composite cable, yet I am curious to know if the older grey Component/Composite cable from my Xbox 360 Pro will work if connected to my newer model. If anyone knows more, or has experienced issues when plugging this cable into the S model, I would be grateful for a response.

Can Older Xbox 360 Component/Composite cable work with the S model?

No problem. Most of the time cables like that are universal. Even if you didn't have the Xbox ones you could run out and buy a different brand and they'd still work.
