Broken Profile???

Hi not sure if this is the right place to post, For a couple years now i have had a catalogue of strange behaviour with my Gamertag/Profile. Heres a list,

B:  Get kicked out of chat parties and games B: Unable to search for games (Intermittant) C: A strange lag in-game [Like freezing and frame skipping] D: Certain features of games do not always work ie Kill streaks in call of duty.  E: Weird graphical juddering? F: Strange page loading on dashboard, long pauses between pages.

Now here's the thing, my tag has been tested on many different internet connections, many different consoles, and other peoples tags on my console do not suffer any of these behaviours, we have tested side by side with different consoles etc and have narrowed it down to my GT, there seems to be no other constant. 

Now i know your probably going to say recover my tag again, but i was just wondering if there is anything linked on my tag server side that is causing these very strange and annoying oddities. 

Could there be anything attached from certain games... eg, my trueskill rank for cod 2, i am confident that there is something not right with my profile.

There would be nothing in regards to your account that would cause in-game lag, graphical issues, or in-game options (kill streaks). My immediate impression is you have a few issues here, possibly to do with your NAT settings, your network, and/or your A/V hookups.

For the party/chat part, check our Communication Guide for suggestions. I'd also appreciate it if you could go to http://speedtest.net and run the test and then post the result image back here.

Many Thanks for getting back to me so soon, Im an IT Technician and network engineer, so im always setup for open NAT.  The problem definitely lies with the Gamertag, myself and team have tested every single piece of kit, i have tried multiple different routers, It is the strangest problem I've ever seen on xbox live, different tags on my system are fine, and still if i use my tag on any other xbox the same issues are present. I know exactly what your saying, but there is certainly something a-miss with the tag. As for AV hook ups, tried multple setups, same results. We have quite literally tried every possible solution, I know it sounds like my NAT or VoIP firmware in routers etc but I can assure your good self that the only constant, is the gamertag itself.

I know your thinking this is the weirdest problem and i think your right. It all began after an update for COD 4, I remember exactly because of my Tag problem with COD4 is airstrike ineffectiveness, I can call in 20 airstrikes before one of them giving me a kill, yet nearly every one of my airstrikes kills me where ever i put myself on the map, its the funniest thing!, now i know COD 4 airstrikes are a bit hit and miss but trust me when i say i played enough to know what was normal and not, [Hence reaching a score rank of 300-400 in the world] As i only really play CODs Im just wondering if there could be any Gamertag link issue with Treyarch and/or Infinity Ward? clutching at straws I know.

If its any help, another one of my black ops problems is getting Pro perk goals to register. I have to do goals many times over to get them to register, so I presume there is something wrong with data saving and/or transmission to my tag?

Also make sure you have enough memory on the console, and that you are using a BROADBAND connection like cable or DSL. Wireless and satellite networks are not supported by xbox live.

As before, I can't in my wildest dreams imagine a GT account issue that would affect your in-game effectiveness. Anything on that front, you should contact the developers for more information.

That said, I would love for you to actually check your network settings, as I have heard some people report them changing or resetting with updates. Also, reverting modems/routers to factory defaults and setting them back up from scratch has worked in some cases.

Lastly, I'm not crazy about your upload speeds. When playing and communicating online, it's a two-way street and if the system isn't getting your information back in a timely manner, it can lead to disconnects or lagging. I would contact your ISP about trying to get that number up if you can.

Trust me I am a network technician, routers and internet speeds are not an issue here, everybody else's tags and machines all work fine. I can use my tag on anyone's connection or xbox and I will still have the same issues. And this will make you laugh, in England my 1mb up speed is considered very high, as the average upload speed here is a feeble 300kbps. not much fibre in this country, hence why all the fuss over cod4s constant US hosts and the annoyance to EU players lol. Anyway, have tried resetting updates, masses of drive space etc  and just bear in mind my professional experience in IT problem solving, has returned a verdict of out of my control and some how GT linked. I know it sounds ridiculous, but when trial and error of all the obvious things has been exhausted, I have finally admitted i have to ask here on the forums to see if something can be  checked on the tag itself, something i cannot do.

Unfortunately standard text book resolves are probably not going to be of help to us, no matter how many different xbox's, connections etc the same issues crop up, thereby my GT has to be in some way unstable.

With all due respect, if you are going to respond to my suggestions with "this isn't the problem" then why post here at all? You haven't contacted the game developers, you won't acknowledge that your speeds might be causing your lag, and you haven't mentioned reviewing your NAT settings.

As for working on other consoles, by your own account all speeds in your area have very low upload speeds. This doesn't rule out anything, but rather enforces that these widespread speeds may be causing part of your issues. And if you are having an in-game account issue, then this would travel with you to other consoles. 

Again, I urge you to consider my suggestions (contact the developer regarding your in-game issues, contact your ISP about your upload speed, and review your router/modem settings) before dismissing them. Thank you.
