Monitor goes to 'Power saving mode" after startup.

Hi, lately I've been having this issue (monitor enters sleep mode after starting up the computer).
I can see the whole load up including the load up of the Windows but when it's supposed to send me to the users selection screen my monitor shows a message saying "Entering power saving mode" and shows a blank screen while Windows is still working (Windows is up - Monitor is down).
I'd like to add that the monitor is a new monitor that I bought 3 weeks ago and I've never had this issue before, it just came out of the blue.
Also, on Safe-mode the monitor works just fine and I turned off all 'Power saving modes' and chose "Never" on going into sleep mode and such (Did all of that in Safe-mode of course).
I hope you can help me as soon as possible,
Thanks.

You said that your computer works fine in safe mode, this means that it is the issue with some third party software, drive or any service.

To fix this issue you can follow these steps:

Method 1: Perform Clean Boot.
To help troubleshoot the issue, you can start Windows 8 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This kind of startup is known as a "clean boot." A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

a) Press the ‘Windows + R’ key on the keyboard.
b) In the ‘Run’ windows type ’MSCONFIG’ and click ‘Ok’.
c) On the ‘General’ tab, click the ‘Normal Startup’ option, and then click ‘OK’.
d) When you are prompted to restart the computer, click ‘Restart’.

Method 2:
Method 2: Automatic Repair" to repair startup problems

a. Boot using Windows 8 Installation disk and perform startup repair.

b. Insert the disk into DVD drive and restart the computer.

c. Press F12 key (typically this is F12, but it can differ between computer manufacturers) and choose the drive that you inserted the installation media into.

d. Once the Windows Setup window appears click Next.

e. Click on Repair your computer.

f. Click on Troubleshoot and then select Advanced Options.

g. Click on Automatic repair.

When I turn on the computer, the monitor says "entering power save mode" and is a blank screen.  Moving the cursor and touching the keyboard does not get it out of that mode easily.  Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.  I will see a dialog box that says that there is no computer signal, but the computer is on.  The monitor display is black with the "entering power save mode".
