Hi,
I understand that when you try to play SIMS 3 on your Windows 8 computer, it crashes. This issue could be caused because SIMS 3 is not compatible with Windows 8. Moreover the game requires 2.4 GHz of processor but your computer has 2.2 GHz processor.
Let us try to install the game in Windows XP compatibility mode and check if that resolves the issue:
Method 1: Uninstall and then re-install the game in Windows XP compatibility mode:
Follow steps to install in compatibility mode:
a) Download the driver setup file and save it on your local disk.
b) Right click on the setup file of the driver and select “Properties”
c) Select “Compatibility” Tab.
d) Make a check mark next to Run this program in “Compatibility mode” and select Windows XP from the drop down list.
e) Let the driver to install and then check the functionality.
