Not exactly. In Windows 7 we had:
1) copy and replace the original
2) don't copy
3) copy but keep both files - the new one is automatically renamed to, for example, blabla(1).jpg
In Windows 8 we have:
1) replace the original
2) skip (don't copy)
3) compare
so the third option "lacks" because if you often have files with identical names you need to copy, like I do with pics, the "copy but keep both" automatics is EXACTLY what I need. Making me click the Compare, then check a few checkboxes IN ANOTHER POPUP
is EXACTLY what I DON'T need :) It's a waste of time, adds another unneccessary step and is really annoying.
The existing window in Win8 could be slightly widened and the two thumbnails with their info could be shown just for reference, like in Win7. You simply click on that option and it's done!
PLEASE, I BEG YOU, get it to how it was :D Just cause it's EASIER and SIMPLER and more EFFICIENT.
