Itunes installation error: Windows Error code 5

windows error 5
when i try to download i tunes near the end of the instlatin i get error 2 windows error code 5.

what does this mean?

HI,

Are you the administrator on the computer?

Error 5: Access is Denied means that you do not have permissions to install the program.

Try to install the program as an administrator and check if it helps.

Right click on the iTunes installation file and select “Run as Administrator”.

If that doesn’t help, then remove iTunes completely and reinstall it. Download the latest version iTunes for Windows 7.
