NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M Code 43 Windows 10

Hi everyone,

After updating to Windows 10 my NVIDIA driver has since stopped working.

I've tried the uninstall/scan for hardware changes work around amongst numerous uninstall and reinstall methods but nothing seems to be working.

When I try to update the driver with the latest version, the installation says it's successful but the driver still appears with the Code 43 error message.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers,

on the update as of august 15, 2015, my Nvidia GTX 960 graphic received a code 43 error message, and was turned off by windows 10, i did all of the troubleshooting that is stated as to fixing it, i even reinstalled the driver, still got the code 43 error, the problem did not happen till the updates on the 15 were installed, i also uninstalled the windows 10, and re installed it, which corrected the problem, till i re installed the updates from the 15 of august 2015 again, then it failed with the same error message, all of the actions on this site, i have tried all of the instructions here, to repair the problem, none of them worked, i even uninstalled the updates from that date of the 15, but that didn't fix the problem either, the only way i was able to fix it, was to remove the windows 10, and re install it again, without the updates from the 15, the problem appears to be somewhere in the updates made on the 15 of august, i have now removed the windows 10, and gone back to windows 7 again, and all is working once again well, if sometime in the future you are able to fix this issue, i will then re install the windows 10

The latest driver is 355.60 and came out two days ago.

If you get a error message after installation, a reboot will fix it.

no, that didn't work either, the problem returned again, on the 19th, when i tried to update again, and i already had 355.60 driver in, i rebooted it, and then i got the code 43 error again, i tried all of the troubleshooting again, i tried all of the re installing again, but the only thing that worked was removing the windows 10 completely, and going back to 7, then back to windows 10 again,

The Problem returned, if the driver from Version 10.x.x.x.

Driver 9.x.x.x works fine, but Windows always update to the Version 10 driver.

then i go back to the older Version or reinstall the old driver (not the complete Windows) and it works again.

I had this issue too. I have an Asus N750 laptop which has on board Intel graphics and the GT750M combined.

After some searching, I found several people who fixed the issue with a bios upgrade. I first tried uninstalling/ reinstalling the drivers. That didn't work, so I flashed the bios to the latest version and that somehow fixed the problem for me.

OK. Windows works with the old Driver.

But Windows update to the newer Version...

With Windows + Pause, advanced System... then Register Hardware you can disable the Driver Update from Microsoft.

Works with Home & Pro Version!

Yep, I tried many various nvidia drivers versions and installed them in different ways, but only upgrading bios from 207 to version 210 helped me out!) Thank you very much)

Warning:

At least if you own an AsusN750JV, do not let Win10 roll out the latest large update. I do not know exactly which update caused it but this update reverses all solutions found above.

Upon upgrading to Win10, I experienced the same problem with the Nvidia graphics card. The Smart Gesture software for the touchpad did not function properly as well. The above discussion offered a solution where I updated the touchpad software as well as the BIOS flashed to v210.

After this, everything functioned propery until MS last update. Now the same issues occurred again. The touchpad driver problem has already been solved again the same way but since my BIOS has already had the upgrade to v210, this trick does not apply. There is no newer BIOS version available. My NVIDIA GT750 graphics  card again does not function.

I do not know which path MS has chosen but it is driving me into the hands of Apple if these idiotic upgrades persist in disabling my laptop.
