Last week I received my SB2.. and the OOBE was awful. It started an immediate upgrade to 1709 which failed. 'Rather' frustrating, but 24 frustrating hours later I was finally up and running on Fall Creator.
Except there's an issue with the driver for Marvell Avastar Bluetooth Radio Adapter. (15.68.9120.47 24/08/2017)
Event 34, BTHUSB.SYS
The local adapter does not support an important Low Energy controller state to support peripheral mode. The minimum required supported state mask is 0x491f7fffff; got 0x1fffffff. Low Energy peripheral role functionality will not be available.
Windows update is all current. I've checked my drivers and all are at the correct versions for 1709 driver packs. Checked against www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=marvell+avastar.
Reading up at other vendor's websites reveal it's a known driver issue with 1709. Apparently Intel updated their driver in mid October... which solved the problem for those users.
So Microsoft and or Marvell? When are you going to fix this for me?
