Word and Outlook 2010 slow to open

Hi,

I have Office 2010 professional plus 32 bit edition on Vista Business 32 bit edition and have used for several months.

About 3 weeks ago a new problem started. Word and Outlook take a long time to open.  Word does not open at all for close to a minute, while Outlook will open.  However when trying to access an email in Outlook, it takes a long time.  Once they are "active", they both appear to work fine.  It appears to be only at startup.

I have researched the web and Microsoft database.  I have tried to use the Microsoft diagnostics utilities (which says nothing is wrong) and I have searched these forums.

I have opened them in Safemode and conducted a clean boot.

However the problem still persists.  Can anybody help?

What is the size of outlook data file?

Did you try performing Scan PST?

Try performing the Scan PST and check if this helps:
