Teams App Error (Not able to view Planner within App)

Hello -

We were made aware of an issue this morning, the Teams app on users phone is not working with Planner. When they go into a Team and click on the Planner within that team it says "Oops, something went wrong... Something went wrong and we couldn't verify your account. Please sign out and sign in again.   51b0f115-0521-446b-a397-2093e27f9d46   Planner Version 16.0.11412.35000"

If the user signs out and signs back it the same error applies, but if they go to the Planner app their planner works just fine. Was there an update that corrupted the Teams app capability to view planner within teams?

Thank you

  Turbo

Hello Turbo Thunder,

Thanks for posting in our forum. Regarding this issue, if you change a different network connection, whether issue exists? Please completely exit Teams app and clear app caches, if convenient, restart device and only run Teams to test it. Generally, this error messages often comes along with a status code in the same page, to better know about your issue, could you please provide a full screenshot of error for checking?

Best Regards,

Anna

Hello Turbo Thunder,

Thanks for the screenshot you provided, since changing network issue persists, I’d like to collect following information:

1. How did you go into Planner within Teams? Issue occurs when you click one planner tab in a team channel?

2. Please login Teams Web App via a PC browser to see if issue can be reproduced.

3. May I collect log from you in Private Messages?

Best Regards,

Anna

Hello Turbo Thunder,

Thanks for your reply and information. Since I can’t repro this issue on my side, when I click one team and select a channel->File &Tabs-> select one plan, Teams iOS will navigate to Planner app. Since you can’t collect fiddler log, please try to clear browser and app caches (please skip this step if there’s any important data), if convenient, restart device and app to see if it works.

Best Regards,

Anna
