Walmart Preorder

So about a month ago I preordered BF2 through Walmart.com and they had the game being sent to my house on the original release date of Nov. 1st. Well now that the game has been pushed up to Oct. 25th Walmart.com sent me an email saying that the game will not be sent to my address until nov. 3rd!?!? They advised me to cancel my order and reorder the game if i wanted to receive it on the correct release date. So I called and canceled my order and when i went to reorder the game the SHIPPING date has changed to Oct 25th with a RECEIVING date of Nov. 3rd!!!! WTF?  Who preorders a game only to receive it a week after it releases..

I take it that you have no other options because that sounds like it sucks. I'll be picking mine up at midnight of release.

No, i can easily go through best buy or amazon or gamestop i just find it interesting that a huge corporation cant adjust their shipping schedule around a products release date and get it to their customers on time.

Its easier rather than waiting and hoping to get your copy 1-2 days early or on the day to prevent getting it few days later just attend Midnight Release and you will be set.

Gamestop. In at midnight, then on line all night. Gaming is getting more popular, where there were 2 gamestops within 30 miles 5 years ago, there are now 5 within ten miles now, 2 of them less than a mile from where I live.

[/quote]I reserved my copy at my local Gamestop, but I'm not going to the midnight release.Knowing me I would probally stay up all night playing and eventually end up calling in sick for work the next day.

2 less then a mile apart?  hell i wher ei live i got 2 across the highway from each other and even 2 in the same strip mall(eb games and gamestop both owned by the sme people)

Gamestop is by far the best place to pre-order IF said gamestop isn't staffed by retarded consumer product test monkeys......Walmart preorders can take up to two weeks after a games release date to actually arrive at your house..been there done that
