Portal 2 Achievement Question

think some of you are misunderstanding the achievement. The reason it's called "Professor Portal" is because you, the professor, are teaching the noob. That means getting this requirement requires three people:

Player 1: You, who are getting the achievement. You play the entire co-op game with Player 2: Your friend who plays the entire game co-op with you.

Player 3: Your friend who did not play the game co-op until you were finished. The day you're done, you ask that Player 3 to join your co-op game. You host a match on the calibration course, and when you're done, the Professor portal achievement pops.

So for this achievement, you need help from 2 others, and one of them has to be patient enough that they'll wait for you to finish co-op before THEY start co-op.

what iw as asking if say player 2 created a new gamer tag would that GT b e consirderd NEW and count to the achievement or would they have to create a new account with a GT and hel pme?

you have too make a new gamertag considering its an online achievment

so it just has to be a differnt gamertag it doesnt matter if its on the same account as the main gt profile?

If your friend makes an entirely new gamertag, yes, it will give this achievement. If he simply changes his gamertag to something different (in that, he spends 800msp for a name change, still the same account, but new gamertag), it will still acknowledge that you played portal 2, and won't work.
