I recently redeemed the Windows 10 edition of Minecraft, but I can't play it due to a really awful audio bug -- upon launching the game I hear a loud white noise / static buzz through my headset (Razer Kraken 7.1, USB headset - the driver is managed by Razer's Surround software -- which is fully up to date). It's almost deafening and I always close the program before getting the menu.
I have no malware on my PC, I far exceed the requirements for Minecraft, Windows 10 and all my software is up to date, Minecraft: Windows 10 is the ONLY application where I've encountered the issue.
I've already tried changing the audio bit depth and sample rate (Control Panel > HW and Sound > Sound > Razer Kraken 7.1 > Properties > Advanced > Format drop-down menu), but this only changes the pitch of the buzz when launching Minecraft, with lower sample rates producing higher pitches.
A quick Google search returned this thread (http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/support/minecraft-windows-10-edition/2488737-windows-10-mc-edition-static-sound-killer), which suggests there is a compatability issue with MC: W10 and the Razer Kraken 7.1 - the suggestion by Patolord - as previously stated - didn't fix the issue for me.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
