Hey guys,

I'd been using the Virgin Super Hub to connect wirelessly to Xbox Live for a few months, and although that had its downsides, I hoped that connecting an old wireless router would eliminate all problems, which it did in regards to network-wide dropouts and wireless dropouts, but I'm now having an Xbox-only problem which I have no idea how to solve.

I connected my old Belkin N1 Wireless Router (which had no issues when I used it before) to my Super Hub and set up a network using this exact method and it is fully functioning. To clarify, I have also turned off the wireless functionality on the Super Hub, effectively making it a modem. I have also forwarded all the ports I need to maintain a good connection on Xbox Live. I can connect to Xbox Live using this setup and have a perfect, open connection using it. However, 15 to 20 minutes after turning my Xbox on (even when just sitting on Dashboard) it disconnects. I can re-connect instantly and nothing else connected to the network is affected. It stops me from playing back-to-back games and it's really annoying.

Pingtest results: 32ms ping, jitter 19ms with 0% packet loss, Speedtest results: 28.49Mpbs download speed, 3.09Mbps upload speed. Interestingly, with the speed test, it said that the Ping was 48ms.

I can't understand why only my Xbox Live connection drops out.

Can anyone help me out here? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
GrimHippy666.
