username taken?

SO I had to convert my hotmail account so I could login when playing dawn of war 2. However, I noticed that it was called unbilledeight54. I tried to change it but apparently it's taken, is there anything against this etc? I only have one hotmail account, so I don't think I've signed up before. :/

Recover the bad GT on your console and change the email address associated to it. (make sure its a good email address you can access)

Then recover the good GT and you should be all set.

When you create a Xbox Live/Games for Windows Live account, you'll given a default name, you can change that name whenever you like.  It is not the same as your Hotmail address.  My email address is not "ZenLikeCalm@____", it's something else.

 

Incidently, you will not be able to use the name  headlesslizard as it is already taken by someone else.

 

@Juan Van, the OP is using a GFWL (PC) account, so it's highly likely that he doesn't have a console.
