HDMI Problem, used to have picture but now do not

Describe the issue you are seeing:
Black Screen 

What type of video cable(s) are you using:
HDMI Cable 

What model Xbox 360 console are you using (original or S).
S Model

Are you receiving any error messages or codes?
Nothing is displayed.

 

Purchased the console for less than 3 months. Used to played perfectly with HDMI cable. After a week or two of not playing it (Went for vacation), nothing is displayed on screen when cable is firmly connected. 

Console is playable with A/V cable (in low-res, not HD).

Checked my HDMI cable, it works when connecting to my Digital TV receiver box, so I guess the problem is my Xbox's HDMI Output Connector.

Filed a repair request and choose to send the console to service provider for free swap, but I don't know where's one in Hong Kong.

Did they have a list of places it could be sent to in Hong Kong? Usually, Xbox gives you packing labels, you ship it to them, and they ship it back to you from your home.

I managed to call the xbox service centre in Hong Kong, they said I can take my xbox to them and they will swap me a new (refurb) one instantly.

I am now saving my stuff from the memory unit to an external USB disk.

Since it's public holiday here today, i'll have to wait...

But then again, I still don't understand why the HDMI is dead. I bought my console for less than 3 months...
