HALO 4 LAG

NAT STATUS: OPEN

LOCATION: UAE

Hello my problem is that theres lag only in halo 4 not in call of duty black ops 2, halo reach and minecraft

theres lag when i'm playing with 3 vs 3 or higher

It's probably a server issue on Halo's part, 343i controls that....

No it not everybody else i play with don't have lag i play upto 500 matches with lag

Hey there!

Have you performed a XboxLIVE connection test, if so, do any errors occur?

Try turning your modem off for a solid 10 minutes, that sometimes helps. However, if not, then have a look at this Xbox LIVE Disconnects | Xbox LIVE Slow | Speed up Xbox LIVE. You may also want to check that your router settings are the best they can be for connection performance, such as having UPNP enabled (Universal Plug and Play)

It could be that you are connecting to an overseas host of which will cause your connection to 'drop'.

There may be some search preferences on Halo 4 in matchmaking, however not having played Halo 4 before, I am afraid I am not sure how. Try some of the following solutions:

Turn off wireless devices. If your router uses the 2.4-gigahertz (GHz) band, try turning off other wireless devices, such as 2.4-GHz cordless telephones and Bluetooth devices.
Try changing your wireless channel. Wireless routers and gateways can broadcast on different channels, and one channel might be clearer than another. See your hardware documentation for help changing wireless channels.
If you have a wired connection: Temporarily unplug everything from your router, except the cable to your modem and the cable to your Xbox 360 console.
