Gears of War 2 golden lancer

I know I know.. I'm EXTREMELY late......... don't waste my time commenting that because I already know.

I've been crazy about the golden lancer like forever now and I still don't have it.. I myself even think its a bit dumb how much I want it but... is there anyone who might still have this content?

You could probably find a code on ebay but I'm sure it won't be cheap.

THEOWENKILLER is correct, here's how:

Lancer - have in Gears 2 or Veteran Gear

Hammerburst - have in Gears 2 or Veteran Gear

Retro Lancer - Unlock in Gears 3 Beta or Veteran Gear

Gnasher - Play the first week of Gears 3 or Veteran Gear

Sawn-Off - Commando Achievement in Gears 1 or Veteran Gear.

or Ebay but they can be expensive - plus there's better skins anyway now (I thinks anyways)

The veteran gear achievement will get you the golden guns in gears 2 and gears 3.

to get golden lancer in gears 2 you had to pre order the game. and then to get golden hammy you had to attend midnight madness.

i know this because i have them both.

veteran gear achievement does not unlock the golden lancer in gears 2. It only unlocks the golden weapons in gears 3.

From what I remember the Golden Lancer was only packaged in Limited Editons of Gears of War 2. That's how I got mine. The Golden Hammerburst was pre-order only.

They might have updated it in Gears of War 2, when you get the achievement the skins unlock but I'm just assuming, if what every one else said is true.

Yep,done a bit more research it only unlocks the gold guns in gears 3 if you have the achievement in gears 2.

This is probably why there are people selling the codes on ebay for $80.
