when i try to delete cisco vpn software from my windows xp pro, i get error 28000 saying cannot install before deleting existing version.it is the only vpn on my pc. i tried several times but all in vain.
i went to window registry local machine, then soft and deleted software cisco vpn. but it just can't work.
any help will be grateful?

I am not sure what registries you are deleting to uninstall the software I suggest that you follow the below article that will give you information on How to Uninstall Manually and Upgrade the Cisco VPN Client that I found on the Cisco Support website:
