Re: Internal error codes 2502 and 2503 for installing steam on Windows 8

I installed Windows 8 and tried to install Valve's Steam but failed these internal error codes 2502 and 2503 popped up. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

Hello again,

After scouring a a lot of forums I found the solution that worked for me:

1.  Go to Task Manager > Details > Explorer.exe & click on End Task.

2.  Now Click on File in Task Manager > type Explorer.exe ( here is the trick ) Check the box            below shows as ( Create this task with administrative privileges.)

3.  Now install / Uninstall this should work 100%.
