Windows 10 Home Edition
Version: 1803
Build: 17134
Every time I attempt to download any apps/games/etc from the Microsoft store the app begins downloading but very shortly afterwards states: "Error: See Details". If you click on "See Details" it states that something unexpected happened and gives the error code: 0x80D03805.
I have tried the following troubleshooting steps (not in any particular order):
1. Reset the Microsoft Store app from the Apps & Features section of the Settings application.
2. Cleared the Microsoft Store cache using the wsreset.exe command from an elevated command prompt.
3. Restarted Windows Update service.
4. Renamed the SoftwareDistribution folder under C:\Windows\
5. Re-registered the Microsoft Store app from PowerShell using the following command:
Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
6. Ran dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth from elevated command prompt.
7. Ran SystemFileCheck, sfc /scannow.
8. Ran the Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter.
9. Logged into a different Microsoft account in the store, same issue.
Throughout all the above troubleshooting I have been restarting the machine to ensure any changes were applied. Nothing has worked. My machine is completely up-to-date. I would post my Update History page from the settings but it currently shows nothing despite the fact that I'm on the latest version of Windows 10 and there have been quite a few updates recently (could be related???).
I have attempted every troubleshooting step I can possibly think of to resolve this short of reinstalling Windows (I'd like to avoid this option). Has anyone tried any other options? This seems to be a common issue but I can't find anything that definitively resolved it.
