my webcam gives error code 0xA00F424F

WHY WHATS WRONG

Answer
Answer

It comes down to read write permissions, currently the folder that you need to save the photo in is probably not allowing the web cam to write to it...

go to file explorer.....pictures.....Camera Roll. from there right click and properties. Then go to security tab and make sure the  account you are logged in with has all the check marks next to it, could be that you are logged in as Account unknown either way make sure all the accounts are checked with ...Full control ...Modify, and everything should work

Thank you! I upgraded to windows 10 on my tablet and just tried the screenshot command and had the same problem. I applied this fix to the screenshots folder and it worked. I don't understand why the folder didn't have the permissions to start with since I am an Administrator user, but oh well. Thanks again!
