Hello,
Microsoft provides many options to get the latest feature upgrade manually. You can use any of:
Upgrade assistant
Media Creation Tool
ISO File
to get Fall Creators update right now.
You can use the following guide having detailed Instructions on how to upgrade to the latest Feature upgrade i.e. Fall Creators update using all the three methods:
How to upgrade to Windows 10 Fall Creators update right now
http://www.yourwindowsguide.com/2017/10/upgrade...
Media Creation tool has an Edge over the Upgrade assistant in my opinion as it offers a greater degree of flexibility of downloading and using the ISO file so that one can deploy it on multiple computers.

Same problem, turns out it was Microsoft Defender  blocking the install.  Open Windows Defender Security Center, go to Virus & Threat Protection, then Virus & Threat Protection Settings, and then turn off Real Time Protection.  The real time protection is temp and will turn back on after the install, but check anyway to make sure it back on after install

Hi Andre,

I'm in a similar situation, unable to complete Windows 10 version 1709 update. I have tried every possible way to resolve this issue without any success. Since my HP PC has not been tested for the Fall Creators Windows update (1709) does it mean that there is no way to keep up with Windows updates in the future, unless we buy a new PC?

Your advice on this matter will be greatly appreciated.

Please see my PC's info below:

Hi Sumit Dhiman2,

I have followed your advice in regards to the multiple issues I've encountered while trying to update to Windows 10 (version 1709).

My PC is currently running on version 1703 but has failed every attempt to update to 1709. I have received multiple errors, but the most common are 0x80700c1 and 0x800704c7.

According to HP support, my PC has not been tested with this update, which would explain why it has failed to install.

Below please find my System info:

Thanks in advance...

This is the most common message I get every time I rum Windows Update Troubleshooting which keeps coming back even after running "Apply this fix"...
