Hardware Changes Post Windows 10 upgrade

I realize that Microsoft have said that significant system changes will invalidate the activation of Windows 10 and that a Motherboard change would constitute a significant change, but can someone tell me what changes can be made individually to a system to NOT invalidate the license?

I am looking at upgrading my sons CPU, the motherboard will be the same, will this invalidate it?

will a new hard drive after a failure invalidate it?

will a new GPU invalidate it?

There does not seem any information on what can be changed and what cannot be changed to change the system enough to invalidate the license agreement.

Thank you for your reply. I apologies for the delay in response. I will certainly help you with this.

Change in hardware causes the activation issue but in Windows 10 only the change to the Motherboard is considered as hardware change and no other hardware component. So change in CPU, hard drive and GPU will not cause any activation issue.

If changing hardware causes any activation issue, I suggest you to refer to the below given Microsoft article to re-activate the Windows:
