Answer
Answer

Hi,

Thank you for posting the question.

As per the description all program are opening with different icons. Let's analyze and identify the cause of the issue.

Please answer few questions to narrow down the issue.

1. When do you get these error messages?

2. Do you get a blue screen error?

3. Are you able to boot the computer?

4. Are you able to boot the computer to safe mode?

5. What is the make and model of the computer?

This issue normally occurs due to the file association, the exe file is unable to open the exact program associated to it. We also need to confirm if you are getting a blue screen error or not.

If you are able to boot the computer to normal mode, you may run the fixit.

When you run an .exe file on a Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7-based computer, the file may start a different program
