Thank you for the response :) Could you please try the following, in order.
1: Try taking your hard drive out and see if the game lets you play without the HDD. (Guide).
2: If the above does not work, reinsert your HDD and delete the game from your hard drive and restart your console. Once the console restarts, clear your cache and then reinstall the game to your HDD and try again. (Guide).
Also, is this the only game that is giving you this problem?
Let me know if that works at all.

Have you tried putting the HDD back on and seeing if you can still play?
If you can Winner!
If you cant, have you tried the other steps CloudStrife suggested?

Lol In this instance I wouldn't panic. I just did a bit of research and you are by no means the only person suffering from this problem. In fact, a patch was released for the PC version of the game to address this very same issue. I am going to go out on a limb and say that this is something that a patch will fix via a title update. Can you tell me if you have tried the 2nd suggestion that I mentioned in my previous post?
Many thanks,

ok so i tried the 2nd option and i got passed the intro and to the press start screen this time before it gave me the same error :( so is it safe to assume that i will not be able to play my game until a patch is available? my only other option is to play without my hdd and not being able to save my progress and that is not acceptable lol

xXShadowII lol
My guess is that there will be a patch. It seems too much of a coincidence that this problem has been patched on the PC and loads of 360 users are having the same problem. 2K games have made no announcement as of yet so be sure to follow their channels. There is another step I would like you to take, could you delete the games install from your HDD (not your save data, just the install) and then try to play it.
I have seen a few instances were playing the game without it being installed on the hard drive, fixes the issue.
Let me know :)
Thanks

You are more than welcome buddy. Lookout for a patch and keep your eye out for any news from tech support over on 2K's website. On top of this, you can submit a request to speak with a 2K support staff member and take this up with them. You can see the option along the top of the website I provided you.
It may however, be due to the fact that your console has trouble reading discs. Though I am still leaning towards it being an error that a title update will fix, given how many people are reporting the problem. Hopefully this is resolved soon enough. If you need any more support, don't hesitate to come back.
Take good care.
Many thanks,
