Fable 3 started downloading on my Xbox but I didn't mean to buy it, only the trial.

I went to the Xbox Live Marketplace looking for the Fable 3 demo. I clicked on it and it stared downloading. It was fine until it said I also bought the REAL GAME. It charged me $40 even though I canceled the download. I would like to cancel that payment please, it was not supposed to HAPPEN. I did not buy the real game.

Thank You.

Unfortunately, any purchases of Games On Demand made on the Xbox Live Marketplace are final. The only things that qualify for a refund are 3 month and 12 month subscriptions within 30 days of purchase/renewal, or MS Points that have yet to be consumed. You will need to contact your issuing bank or credit card company and take it up with them. Xbox will NOT refund any purchases for 1 month subscriptions, MS Points that have been consumed, or Games On Demand purchases. Good luck.

@apparition: If you are suggesting disputing the charge, then Microsoft will put his account on a billing related suspension.

@OP: As sucky an answer as this is, all sales are final, and no refund will be issued. Consider it a lesson learned, and I'm pretty sure you won't make the same mistake again.

Billing suspensions will NOT occur from a dispute with the bank. Verified.
