Achievement of Silverback (Gears of War 3)

only advice i can give since i havent played gears in a while would be to go to here  http://gearsofwar.xbox.com/en-US/ and see if it is a common thing.

a friend of mine has the same problem, as far as I know, she still cant unlock the achievement

have you tried recovering your profile?

I can only suggest what ModestElf already has, try recovering your profile and see if that will work.

Failing that I would over the Gear of War site and dropping a post on the forums there and wait for one of the people at Epic to help you out.

It seems like the achievement you're talking about is What Does This Button Do?. Is that correct? My first question would be whether you got the Silverback kills in Horde mode as opposed to any other mode. Any of the maps count, but it must be done in Horde.
 

Secondly, were you connected to LIVE at the time you should have earned the achievement?

For ModestElf: I haven't tried recover my profile. Maybe serve it. I will prove.

For Mister Darcy: It's correct. And I've killed them in Horde mode. In the achievement put 1400/500 killed and it's the tick. I have "unlocked" the achievement but it doesn't give me the G points nor unlocked.

Okay, thanks Sheira23 - Let us know the outcome. Unfortunately the only thing we would be able to suggest if you are sure you have completed all requirements for the achievement would be to delete your game progress and re-earn the achievement. Obviously, this would be a last resort, so other avenues would be best to pursue first.

I think you need to have Horde Command Pack DLC in order to unlock this achievement. It worked for a couple of friends od mine.

Hi i would suggest to go to www.xbox360achievements.org/.../guide, and follow the advice on getting the achievement. also i would delete the game save and try getting the achivement again. But by the look of it  you definately need the Horde Command Pack DLC to unlock this achievement

You can't unlock the silverback rockets without having the DLC in the first place anyway guys. Try the following twitter accounts, they are programmers of the game.

I have the Horde Command Pack and I have the level 4 of Silverback. The rockets unlocking in level 3. I've do all requirements of unlock that achievement.
