Xbox shut itself off??

I got home from work this evening, and I turned my xbox on to play brink, I stepped out of my room for 5 min, and I come back and my system is off. I tried turning it back on, and nothing happend. The Power supply was lit, and I unpluged everything and pluged it back in, used compresed air to blow out the vents on the system thinking that would help, and it didn't. So, I left it alone, and it turned itself back on. NO I am not making this up. So, is their a internal problem, or should I start thinking about purchasing another console in the near future? Or is everything fine? Also, what are you guys' thoughts on this??

The power button on the 360 could be stuck. You could try to take the faceplate off and snap it back in place. Or you can try to power it on and off threw your 360 controller. Sorry I can't give any more help but I hope that works !!

I actually tried that too. And it didn't work either, it was a pretty random occurance and it's working fine now. Just curious as to why it would turn itself back on lol.

That's certainily odd. It sounds like the issue is resolved, though, so if you encounter something similar, please check this post for No Power Issues here, or make a new post.
