Please take me up on this challenge !

I get the xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-C000-0099 error when tryng to update

(accused of modding or tampering with the xbox) 

 

this console is kept and owned by an 11 year old boy who couldnt even change a plug,

xbox live membership and Cod DLC purchased this month , your detection system is wrong!

please organsise a free collection/return of this console to see that it has not been touched 



Was the console purchased new or used?  If it was purchased used, it is possible that it was tampered with.  Has anyone else had access to the console to tamper with it?  Did something happen to it and it was taken in for repairs anywhere other than Xbox support?

All these things can mean that your console is considered tampered with.  

If you do believe that the problem is an error, you will need to contact support about the issue.
