paypal option on xbox

I noticed there is now an option to use paypal as a payment option on the 360 but when you click on it, it says to go to xbox.com for further info. Does anyone know where I can find any further info on this? I found a major nelson page that said it was U.S only but that was dated 2009.

 

Also is anyone else having problems replying to posts? I can create new posts but cannot reply to any at the moment. The last post in every thread is not showing up and when I try to reply to another post in that thread it does nothing. Weird.

I saw a list of countries that Paypal wasn't available for, and Australia definitely wasn't on the list, so it should work. Hopefully someone who uses it can come in and help more.

I noticed this option the other day when looking to buy some MS points. It worked no problems. I'd prefer this method rather than sharing my CC details around at multiple spots.

Yeah it works no problems, I have used it now. I had to set it up via my account on xbox.com but once that is sorted it works fine.

Whenever I try to use the Paypal option (I have set it up through xbox.com) I get a stupid message something saying you can only use MS points for this transaction... buying points with points wtf

You are trying to purchase points? That should work, anything with a currency value should work with paypal so that is weird it is telling you that.

When I set mine up it asked me for the paypal account name, then sends you to paypal to log in and confirm that you want to connect paypal to xbox and that was it. I then went to the xbox and used paypal to buy points.
