outstanding balance

Hi,

I have an outstanding balance due to my card expiring, if i update my card will money be taken out? If money is taken, will i receive Xbox live gold or is that already been given to me, but shouldn't the subscription be provided on successful payment? Or can i cancel it so i can pick a new payment option?

If you add another card it will pay off the balance you owe first before you can purchase another subscription.

No. It will pay off your balance and then you can purchase a new subscription.

i hav the same problem, how do i get the other card i have on my account to pay off the balance

Try adding it at billing.microsoft.com or call support and talk to billing and they can help you sort it out.

If you pay off the balance, you can get a prepaid code for the time that was left on your subscription. That way you're not paying for nothing. Phone support can handle that for you.
