i dont own a credit card so i am unable to purchase gold membership from dashboard is there any chance xbox will allow debit payments in future???

Hi there.
Debit cards can be used with the xbox LIVE service. Just be sure that the card in question is VISA verified, meaning that you can make online payments with it and you should check with your bank that they allow you to subscribe to online subscriptions.
If you can confirm the above and your card should work, then please take us through what is going wrong in your case. Are you receiving any on-screen error messages or codes? If so, please provide the exact message along with the codes here as this may provide a better understanding for someone who can help.

If you debit card has a Visa or Mastercard logo it will work. I use my debit card on my account. I do believe that with the updates rolling out they are going to start allowing people to use paypal to buy gold memberships, currently you can only use paypal to buy Microsoft points.
Other than that you will need to go to your local retailer and buy the prepaid membership cards.
