Flash Player available for IE on Xbox 360?

Hi.  This question was asked and answered last year, but the answer was "no word yet" and the version the answer pertained to was the beta.

How about now?  Can you download the Flash player onto your Xbox so that you can view, say, Lynda.com videos on an Xbox?  When I go to the Flash download page in the browser on my Xbox 360, the page renders blank, as if it's being sanitized by the Xbox.

Hey there janetfi, To answer your question no there is no Flash Player plug-in for IE on the Xbox 360, and as far as I know there are no plans for it, there more than likely never will be. Mainly because you are unable to download anything to your console using the Browser. The Xbox 360 IE browser is an HTML5 equiped browser and it's going to be down to other websites to start supporting HTML5. Sorry about that. I hope this helps.

You are asking the the wrong people then

you should be asking your game devs why they havent followed up on fbs policy yet

html5 is required for new games and fb wont approve non mobile games

fyi again if you read the beta forums its not  ms issue flash is made legally by adobe and can only come from them

Adobe and the rest of the world moved on to html5 why cant you

adobe already said no to phones and consoles
