Cannot Connect to Halo 3 Servers (Cannot connect to Halo Reach Servers aswell)

Hi there

after months of deliberation i finally got xbox gold so i could play Halo 3 on Xbox Live and found that every time i entered matchmaking i get a message saying 'cannot connect to halo 3 server'. I also tried Halo Reach and i get the same message but Reach just replaces the word halo 3.

Now i have researched everything i can, ive port forwarded, ive checked my nat bla bla bla ive tried it but still nothing. Its been close to a month since signing up now and i havent been able to play one game. I just cant find any recent recent info suggesting anyone else is having this problem atm. 

Is it me? Is it New Zealand? Is it Halo 3? Is it Slingshot?

I just wanna play if anyone has any suggestions id love to hear them, thanks :)

What result returns when you run "test xbox live connection"

when i run the test everything seems to be fine. The bar under the xbox live part doesn't ever go green but goes full grey, There are no triangle !'s either

it is a Thomson TG585v7

Try adding forwarding the ports for xboxlive in your router, and ensure UPnP is ticked.

Have a look at this video off youtube for help in configuring the router.

Had that prob at the beginning of the year, its all working now, blame 343 Industries
