Blue screen error "MEMORY_ MANAGEMENT STOP. 0X0000001A"

Original title: <Security Processor Loader Driver>

HI,

I have a serious problem with my 3 years desktop Hp Pavillion 6430. when I went to start my computer yesterday I had this Blue screen appeared with the following issue.

MEMORY_ MANAGEMENT

WITH ERROR CODES BELOW.

STOP. 0X0000001A (0X00041284,OX76600001,OX00000000,0XC0802000

When I got to device management under hidden hidden devices I had found this Security  Processor Loader Driver not functioning and when I expanded

to its properties. I found this text below.

This device is not present, is not working properly, or does not have all its drivers installed. (Code 24)

Click 'Check for solutions' to send data about this device to Microsoft and to see if there is a solution available.

Could this be the culprit not letting my computer start normally and keep getting the above blue screen warning. Any one can help me sort this mess out please.

Cheers in advance.

Sharks

Hi,

1. When exactly do you get the blue screen error?

2. Have you made any changes to the computer, prior to the issue?

You receive a Code 24 in device manager because the device is installed incorrectly. The problem could be a hardware failure, or a new driver might be needed.

Devices stay in this state if they have been prepared for removal. After you remove the device, this error disappears.

To remove the faulty device (that generates Code 24) in device manager, follow these steps.

a. Click on Start, in the start search box type devmgmt.msc and hit Enter.

b. Right click on the device and select Uninstall.

Method 1:

Refer to the following link.

Note: If you are going to install a new copy of Windows Vista, its important that you backup data before you proceed.

Method 2:

Check the computer’s memory for errors.

Also, you may upload the dump files to SkyDrive and provide us the link to it.

We do need the DMP file as it contains the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.

If you are overclocking STOP

You may be able to get the DMP files without crashing by booting into safe mode (F8) with networking.

Please follow these instructions to collect data from the crashes and upload them here, to your Skydrive or a file sharing service like Rapidshare.

To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.

The procedure:

* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the contents of that folder
Please upload them to skydrive or a file sharing service and put a link to them in your next post.

Please also go to start>search/run>cmd>msinfo32 and include it in the upload

To ensure minidumps are enabled:

* Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
* Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
* Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
* Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
* Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
* OK your way out.
* Reboot if changes have been made.

Please also go to start>run>msinfo32 and save the results.  Upload it with the DMP files, thanks.

Hi Fazil,

Thanks for your trouble sorting out my Blue screen trouble. I have tried all your solution which you had mentioned in your reply but no avail, it would also not let me extract a mini dump files. Every time I tried to do that it keeps booting back on to Blue screen. With same message.

I have also disabled the last Installed Hard ware which was an infra red receiver, which is now been de installed and my printer driver was also playing up, which is been disabled as well.

I am puzzled as to what can be done? Do you think it might be one of my memory Module is packed up. As when I ran a memory test it failed on all the parameters and then went back to blue screen again in a dump mode.

Do you think I will end up wiping to factory reset or do you think there is more sinister things at play.

Please advise any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers
Sharks

I presume you had NO luck this way...
