C\windows\system32\rundll32.exe application not found

anytime i try to open an app. in control panel,the above message appears.can anyone offer advice on how to fiz this as i know very little about these amazing machines. thanks.

This issue occurs because of a missing or corrupted Rundll32.exe file. This issue may also be caused by a virus.

 

Method 1: Follow the steps mentioned in the article below

Method 2: Run an online scan for any threat and try to fix them
