win32event.pyd: Fatal Error alert

From you post it appears that you get an error disk is full when you try system restore or you try to download fix-it.

1. Which fixit are you referring to? From which website are you trying to download the fixit and why?
2. What happens when you try to allocate more disk space for System restore?
3. When do you get this error message "win32event.pyd"?

Let's try these steps and check for the issue.

Method 1:

Step 1:

Try to boot in safe mode and check if the issue persists.

In safe mode, you have access to only basic files and drivers (mouse, monitor, keyboard, mass storage, base video, default system services, and no network connections).

To start the computer in safe mode

Step 2:

If it works fine in safe mode then perform a clean boot:

Note: After using Clean Boot to resolve the issue follow “Steps to configure Windows to use a Normal startup state” under step 4 from the above mentioned kb article.

Method 2:

I would also suggest you to download and run the latest Microsoft Safety Scanner on your computer and check if it helps:

Note: Any data files that are infected may only be cleaned by deleting the file entirely, which means there is a potential for data loss.
