How do you print with windows 8?

I want to print a picture and I absolutely cannot figure out how to do this. Were do I find my printer in Windows 8?

If you are using the 'modern' Photos app > open the individual photo / picture >

Method 1. Press Ctrl + p, > select printer & set printing preferences > select "print"

Method 2. Reveal 'Charms' bar > select 'Devices' > select printer & set printing preferences > select "print"

Naturally Method 1. the quickest.

Either method can be used for any modern app.

Only Method 1. can be used for Desktop apps.

A computer is a device, that requires human input to operate efficiently.
Alas we humans do fail!!!!
