CLFS Error: 0xc0190052

Hi,
I`m having a weird Warning in Event viewer,
Whenever I shut down or restart my laptop when running on the Battery, most of the times following Warning appears:

The Transaction (UOW={d72acee1-8832-11e3-ad60-00234ed905c4}, Description='') was unable to be committed, and instead rolled back; this was due to an error message returned by CLFS while attempting to write a Prepare or Commit record for the Transaction.  The CLFS error returned was: 0xc0190052.

UOW ID varies but Error returned always remains the same.
But this only happens when laptop running on battery, when it runs on AC power, this error does`t occur.
Kindly help!

I understand you are getting an error in the event viewer when you restart and shut down without AC POWER plugged in on the computer.

 

I would like to know some information about the issue so that we could assist you further.

1. What is the make and model of the computer?

2. Did you made any software or hardware changes on the computer prior to this issue?

 

The (CLFS) Common Log File System is a general-purpose logging service that is used by software clients running in user-mode or kernel-mode.

 

I would suggest you to follow the steps below and see if they work for you:

1. Click Start, and type cmd in the search box.

2. Right-click Command prompt, and then click Run as administrator.

3. If the User Account Control dialog box appears, confirm that the action it displays is what you want, and then click Continue.

4. Now type the following command in the command prompt and press enter:

fsutil resource setautoreset true c:\

5. Restart the PC and check again.

thanks for your assistance Rohit,
Model and Manufacturer is Lenovo G530.
and the answer to your second question is,,NO i did`t make any major changes in my system prior to this issue.

and i followed all the steps and the output of the above command was:
operation completed successfully.

But eventually i got this Warning once in Event Viewer:

Source:        Ntfs
Date:         
Event ID:      136
Task Category: (2)
Level:         Warning
Keywords:      Classic
User:          N/A
Computer:    
Description:
The default transaction resource manager on volume C: encountered an error while starting and its metadata was reset.  The data contains the error code.

But the issue is still there,CLFS Warning occurred again ..and i want to know what exactly this command did in my system and why this NTFS error?.

My brother,

Excuse me, for not knowing how to express myself properly in English.

Forgive me for not having clarified before. The above warnings, which, on my machine occurred at startup, does not appear more in the Event Viewer. 

The laptop always plugged on AC power, differently than happened with Akshay.

As both problems were resolved by System Restore, the cause was not detected.
