WinSock error with Forte Free Agent

I receive the following error when attempting to run a 32bit version of Forte Free Agent newsreader: "Create fail for window WinSockSession." This program ran fine under Vista x64 and Win7 x64 RC Build 7100. I have tried Compatibility Mode (XP) and Run as Administrator, as well as reinstalling - all with no success.  The Event Viewer reports the following: Log Name:      Application
