Setup a Bluetooth wireless headset on a laptop

Original Title: Need help with pairing/syncing a Bluetooth headset to a Windows 7 laptop...

I need help with pairing/syncing a Bluetooth headset to a Windows 7 laptop. I don't see in my Control Panel a place for a Bluetooth device, but I found in my BIOS setup screen that I can turn the Bluetooth feature on. Does that mean I have an adapter already built in to my laptop? How can I pair/sync it to my laptop?

Hi Gamerchic82,

To add the Bluetooth headset, you can follow these steps

a.       Click Start and the Control Panel.

b.      Now click on View Devices and Printers under Hardware and Sound.

c.       Make sure Wireless is enabled on the laptop and turn the Headset on.

d.      Click Add a Device. Select the device you want to add and click Next.

e.       At this point, your headset should be working. You can use it to click Close.

Note:  Make sure that your Bluetooth is ON. Your laptop might have a switch that enables or disables wireless. The feature has to be turned on in BIOS (Basic Input\Output System).

The following article should help you further in adding a Bluetooth device.
