Not enough storage to process command

Hey!

I have major problem trying to install a new WLAN pci card. When i first inserted it into the PC i figured the PnP would take care of everything but no so i installed it manually from the cd, this didn't work either so i tried to install it using a driver from the manufacturers website. The installation finishes and everything but windows still goes to look for drivers and when it doesn't find any i go to look in the device manager and i get the following error code:

The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28) (but they are)

Not enough storage is available to process this command.

To find a driver for this device, click Update Driver.

I have about 2,5gig ram free and about 590 gig of disk space free so that can't be it right?

the things i have tried are:

Running the setup file as administrator, performing a disk cleanup, creating a new account with administrator acces, "telling" windows installer where to find the driver installer.

Nothing works. Doe's anyone have any good ideas???

Hi sthlm12-15,

Thank you for your post.

I suggest performing a clean boot prior to installing the device drivers to ensure there is enough resourses to complete the action:

Are you proceeding with the driver installation once you get the digital signature error?

Have you checked the Windows Compatibility Center to see if your device is listed?
